My Stampin' UP! story..

I'm taking an online class with Stampin Up! to help grow my business.

MY Story:


I wanted it ALL so..... I decided to by the demo kit.. it was a special that I could afford.. The new in colors just called my name!! Plus I could make SU help pay for my paper crafting/scrapbook addiction.. The minimum quarterly quota easy peasy I thought. I probably spend that much myself in a quarter.. lol So here I am a SU demo.



MY WHY:

Decor Elements ~ O is for Owl

Here are a few of my favorite things.

Owls, Purple and my laptop...

I just got a new laptop a month or so ago and when I saw the Owl I knew I had to have him for my computer.



He is from the Nursery Alphabet Decor Element O is for Owl #117544

OK I have a small computer so his feet got cut off.. oh well.. I still LOVE him.

You can add these decor elements to all sorts of things besides the wall.

The first project of the new year.

This is like the fourth bag I have made.

You ask where are the pictures of the others. Well they were Christmas presents and I didn't get pictures of all of them.

But lets say they are a big hit.

They are so easy to make even if your not a big sewer.







You use the Big Shot Scallop Square clear Bigz Die 115950 to cut out the squares.

I used old blue jeans for mine. I used the waistband as the straps and for the closure.

I takes about a yard of fabric and 2 pair of blue jeans to make one bag. Although you will have lots of blue jean fabric left you need 2 waistbands to make the handles.

I have made them in different sizes too. Its easy to adapt the pattern to your liking.

You can use more patterns of fabric to if you like too.


I love my Big Shot its wonderful for cutting fabric too!

I spent and afternoon making these for my grandma to give to her friends, nurses and workers in her home. It's a cute little inexpensive gift for the holidays.
